For International Visitors

Varanasi Tours for Foreign Tourists

A private AC vehicle with a driver who speaks English and Hindi, waiting for you at arrivals with your name and your flight already tracked. Why book this package

English and Hindi speaking drivers

Every Varanasi On Wheels driver speaks English and Hindi, so directions, timing questions and last-minute changes are never lost in translation.

Airport meet & greet, flight tracked

Your driver tracks your flight and is waiting at arrivals with a name board — a delayed landing does not cost you the pickup or change the fare.

Every vehicle, one fixed per-km rate

Swift Dzire from ₹11/km, Innova Crysta from ₹16/km, tempo traveller from ₹23/km, up to a 49-seater bus from ₹57/km. No surge for a late flight or a long immigration queue.

Quoted in INR, confirmed before you travel

We quote in Indian Rupees and send a written confirmation before your trip, rather than a USD estimate that goes stale the moment the exchange rate moves.

Pay the way that suits you

UPI, credit or debit card, cash, or a bank transfer — whichever is easiest from wherever you are booking.

Book on WhatsApp, no local SIM needed

WhatsApp works over hotel or airport Wi-Fi before you land in India. Send your dates and flight number and get a written quote back the same way.

How booking works from outside India

Step 1

WhatsApp your dates and flight number

Message us your arrival flight, travel dates and what you want to see — Kashi Vishwanath, the Ganga Aarti, Sarnath, or an Ayodhya day trip.

Step 2

Get a written INR quote

We reply with the vehicle, the per-km rate and the full total including driver allowance, tolls and GST, so you know the final fare before you fly.

Step 3

Meet your driver at arrivals

Your driver tracks your flight and is waiting at arrivals with a name board — no separate transfer to arrange.

Step 4

Travel at the fixed rate you confirmed

The same driver and vehicle for your Varanasi days. Pay by UPI, card, cash or bank transfer at the end of the trip.

Why pilgrims trust Varanasi On Wheels

Search for a Varanasi tour from outside India and most results lead to a booking platform, not the driver who will actually pick you up — you pay a platform's markup for a car we could have quoted you directly. Varanasi On Wheels is a family-run fleet based in Varanasi since 1993, not an aggregator working through partners.

Every rate we quote is per kilometre, fixed at the start of your trip: Swift Dzire from ₹11/km up to the largest bus in the fleet at ₹57/km. Driver allowance, tolls, parking and 5% GST are separate and stated upfront, so the figure you agree to on WhatsApp is the figure you pay — not a meter that keeps running.

We quote in Indian Rupees rather than a converted dollar or pound figure, because an exchange rate can move between the day you book and the day you land. A written INR quote, confirmed before travel, tells you exactly what you owe — no recalculating at the airport.

What travellers tell us

Our driver was knowledgeable about each site and the Innova Crysta was very comfortable for the long journeys. He pre-arranged a multilingual local guide for us — everything was organised in advance.
David WilsonSydney, Australia
Booking with Varanasi On Wheels was the best decision for our trip. Safe, reliable, and very professional. The 7-day Buddhist Circuit from Sarnath to Lumbini was flawlessly organized. Driver assisted us at the Sunauli border crossing. Highly recommended.

Frequently asked questions

Do your drivers speak English?+

Yes. Every driver speaks English and Hindi, so you can discuss timing, add a stop, or ask about a temple or ghat without a language barrier.

What happens if my flight is delayed — will someone still be there?+

Yes. Your driver tracks your flight and adjusts the pickup time automatically, then waits at arrivals with a name board. A delayed landing does not change your fixed rate.

Are the rates really fixed, or does the price change like a taxi meter?+

Fixed. We quote a per-km rate for your vehicle — Swift Dzire from ₹11/km, Innova Crysta from ₹16/km, tempo traveller from ₹23/km and upward for larger coaches — and confirm the all-inclusive total in writing before you travel. There is no surge for traffic, a late flight or a long darshan queue.

What is not included in the quoted rate?+

Driver allowance, tolls, parking and 5% GST are billed separately from the per-km rate and stated clearly in your quote before you travel.

Do you quote in US dollars or pounds?+

No — we quote in Indian Rupees. A dollar or pound figure goes stale the moment the exchange rate moves, so we send a written INR quote confirmed before your trip instead.

How do I book if I don't have an Indian phone number yet?+

WhatsApp. It works over your hotel or airport Wi-Fi before you have a local SIM — message your dates and flight number and we reply with a written quote the same way.

Should I do Varanasi to Ayodhya as a day trip or stay overnight?+

Varanasi to Ayodhya is 200 km via NH-56, a 4-5 hour drive each way. A single-day dash leaves you around ninety minutes in Ayodhya after five hours on the road — workable, but tight. A round trip runs close to 400 km, which crosses our 250 km/day minimum, so most groups end up booking it as a two-day trip with an overnight stay, giving time for both the morning Ram Mandir darshan and the evening Saryu Aarti.
