The Ramayana Circuit retraces key sites from the Ramayana — Ayodhya (the birthplace of Lord Rama and now home to the new Ram Mandir, consecrated 22 January 2024), Prayagraj (where Bharat is said to have met Rama at the confluence), and Chitrakoot (where Rama, Sita, and Lakshman spent eleven of their fourteen exile years).     Morning departure from Varanasi. Arrive Prayagraj by afternoon. Boat ride at Triveni Sangam (confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati). Visit Akshayavat (the indestructible banyan), Patalpuri Temple inside the fort, and Bade Hanuman (lying Hanuman). Evening rest.

Is Ram Mandir darshan free in Ayodhya?
Yes — regular darshan at Ram Janmabhoomi (Ram Mandir) is free. The Sugam (priority) darshan is available via the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust booking portal (small fee, photo ID required). VIP darshan slots are limited and require 7–10 days advance booking. We can assist with both.
How long does Ram Mandir darshan take?
Plan for 3–4 hours: 30 min to reach the temple complex from parking, 30 min security check (no phones, no leather), 1.5–2 hr darshan queue (longer on weekends and during Ram Navami / Diwali). VIP darshan slots reduce this to about 90 min. Best to start by 7 AM.
Can I do the Ramayana Circuit in 4 days?
A compressed 4-day version covers Varanasi (1 day) → Ayodhya (1 day) → Prayagraj (1 day) → Varanasi. The 6-day version adds Chitrakoot. The 7-day version adds Janakpur in Nepal (Sita's birthplace) for those with extra time and Nepal-eligible IDs.
Is there a hotel in Ayodhya near Ram Mandir?
Ayodhya has a wide range from budget dharamshalas (₹500–₹1,500/night) to mid-range hotels (₹3,000–₹6,000) and premium properties like Taj Vivanta and Radisson Blu (₹10,000+/night). We can pre-book based on group size and budget. Mention preferences at booking.
What should we wear at Ram Mandir?
Traditional / modest attire is recommended — kurta-pyjama, saree, salwar suit, dhoti. Sleeveless tops, shorts, and t-shirts are technically allowed but locals dress traditionally. Footwear must be removed at the security gate. Mobile phones, cameras, leather belts, and wallets must be deposited. Carry a cloth pouch for valuables.
Can the route start from Prayagraj instead of Varanasi?
Yes — we can pick you up from Prayagraj airport, Prayagraj Junction, or Bamrauli airport. The route flexes naturally; we'll redraw the loop so your start and end points match your flight / train.
